Class of 1982 Hello, Select Few. Hope all is well this holiday season, especially for those of you overseas. Doug Morrison has been a frequent Trans-Atlantic flier lately. His letter follows: Cathy, the girls and I are still here at Fort Stewart. I will be in command of the Division Cavalry Squadron, 3rd Squadron 7th U.S. Cavalry, until Jan 01. I'll probably move into a staff assignment then, the only question right now is where---here at Stewart or with Task Force Eagle in Bosnia. I have a release date of Sept 01, and hope to move the family next summer. Could be a joint assignment somewhere. I was recently in Tuzla, Bosnia. I went there for about three weeks collecting lessons learned for the CG, MG Sharp. I will be back just before Thanksgiving and will spend a couple of days with my Air Troops who are at Camp Comanche as part of the Avn TF. Then the SFOR 9 flow conference and SFOR 10 structure conference. That will be followed by a recon for my troop commanders and 1SG's. I heard from Mike Hogan a couple of weeks back. He was working on a new association of players, managers, and assistants associated with Army Football. Abe Abrams is still in command down at Fort Hood. Al Mosher finished up last summer at Fort Riley and was selected to go to the War College next summer. Good luck, Doug. You've got a busy schedule ahead. Jim Hogle's wife Wynne sends a photo of the family. The Hogles and their children Chase (16) and Regina (13) are now living in Yongsan, Korea. They've been busy exploring the city via the subway system. Jim is working in the J-6 cell as Chief of the Network Management Branch. Until next issue, Beat Navy. |
