A eulogy site for Bill has been created here: http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1982/39481 Reported by Tom Kastner: Dear Select Few, Our friend and classmate Bill Landefeld died peacefully at 9:30 this morning surrounded by his brothers Seth, Stewart, and John and his dear friend Moira. He was conscious enough at the end to know that he was loved and comforted. Our hearts go out to his children Charlie, Sally, Gus, and Elizabeth. We are grateful to the medical staff at the Veterans' Administration for their skill, professionalism, and compassion. We could not have asked for better care for him or for more kindness to us. His family is making arrangements for services; we will post them here when they are finalized. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. |
